HomeTown Lenders collects a $350.00 deposit that will be credited back to you at closing. This committment fee covers various expenses of which we will incur as a result of locking/initializing your rate/loan. In the event that your loan with HomeTown Lenders is suspended or denied, your deposit will be refunded to you, minus any fees that have been incurred up to that point. Credit Report Fee - One Borrower - Choose this option if you would like to pay for one credit report only. The fee is $11.45 and will be credited back to you at closing. Credit Repair Service Fee – Choose this option if you would like to begin the process of credit repair. This is a non-refundable fee; However, if your loan is approved and closed with HomeTown Lenders, this amount will be credited back to you at closing. Should this occur, we will make every attempt to lock at the rate that you requested (or were quoted). However, if we are unable to obtain your rate/pricing, your Mortgage Expert will contact you to inform you of the occurrence, and will proceed at your request only. Your loan will NOT be locked at a higher rate. |
